Numbered Steps

You can establish your website by following the numbered steps. Each step contains videos on how to accomplish them and have your website up in no time. There are six steps in total, including an extra video on where to find free images.

Introduction

Getting your website up and running does not need to be overly complex or extremely expensive. Instead of going through the hassle of constant back and forth with designers on minuscule decisions for your website, you can watch pre-recorded videos that show you every step in the website creation process and pick a template design that fits your needs. Once you make your purchase, you will receive an email with a password and links to website pages that will need that password for entry. The entire process can be broken down into six steps, which include 1. purchasing a domain, 2. filling out the basic information form, 3. creating a Webflow account and inviting us to your dashboard, 4. purchasing hosting and connecting your domain, 5. editing the template, 6. and finishing up. After these steps are complete, your new website will be deployed.

What Are Templates?

A template is essentially a pre-developed website design. Instead of building an entirely new website from scratch, you can pick a pre-made design to quickly start the process. These templates contain filler text and images that would be replaced with your content to make the website truly yours. You can easily view the templates on a browser to explore the site’s design entirely before beginning the process. You just have click the view template button underneath a template of your choice and then click the view website button.

Step 1: Purchasing A Domain

This is the first step in the development process. A domain is essentially an authoritative title that allows for ownership in specific areas on the web. A domain name should be used in your website URL and closely resemble your business name. Once you make the subscription purchase, there are video instructions on how to purchase and a own domain if you do not already own one. We recommend using GoDaddy.com for purchasing a domain. Domains should be owned by your business, and therefore, not purchased or owned by us.

Step 2: Basic Information Form

The basic information form is the second step in the development process. The basic information form requires basic information from you that will allow us to edit some areas of the template before we transfer it to you for editing. The information requirements in the basic information form depend on the template you selected, but generally includes basic information such as your name, phone number, address, and office hours, as well as your logo (if you have one) social media links (if you have those) a domain name, and how you would like your form or forms to be set up.

Step 3: Create Webflow Account

The third step in the development process is creating a Webflow account and inviting us into your dashboard. By doing this, we can transfer the template into your workspace and both you and our company will have editing permissions. This step, as with the other steps, will be outlined in video format so you will know how to do it.

Step 4: Editing The Template

The fourth step is editing the template. Editing the template involves entering your own text content and images. This can take time as you need to fill the website with your own text content. This is the part where you really make the website your own. Instructions on how to edit every part of the template are outlined with detailed videos.

Step 5: Purchasing Hosting & Connecting Domain

The fifth step is purchasing hosting & connecting a domain. Website hosting is the action of having your website properly published on the internet. Webflow offers hosting plans for your website. There are four hosting plans, but only two will work with our services because only two allow for CMS, which stands for Content Management System. Those two plans are the CMS plan which costs $23.00 a month and the business plan which is $39.00 a month. (As of July 27, 2024). Once you have purchased the correct hosting, you can then connect your domain to your site. There are of course video instructions on how to purchase hosting and connect your domain.

Step 6: Finishing Up

The last step is finishing up which just gives you some additional information for moving forward with your new website. There is also a quick form that we require you to fill out to ensure you are finished editing and are ready to have your website published.

Extra: Sourcing Images

We have a video on how you can source copyright-free images. You can use these images to replace the images that come with your template.

Extra: Add Pages

In the event that you would like to add a page to your website, we have a form that you can fill out to make that happen. We have a video that details how to fill out the form and what the new page would look like.

Why Our Services?

This service is both time-efficient and cost-efficient. There are two common alternative routes you could take to have your website built. Those routes include using a service that builds your entire website from scratch or using a template and putting the website together on your own. Having your website built from scratch has its benefits such as more control over design aspects. There are however many cons to having your website built from scratch in comparison to using our services. Collaborating with a large team can be costly and often proves unnecessary, as the designs they provide are purportedly customized for your needs but often yield minimal impact. This approach tends to be more time-intensive and may not be warranted unless you possess a distinct vision for your website. Through our pricing plans, you can save both money and time while still achieving a professionally designed, SEO-friendly website that reflects your practice’s expertise. You can also buy pre-made templates for a cheap price. There are some issues with using pre-made templates for your website. The challenge lies in the fact that mastering the Webflow designer and comprehending all website-building protocols can be a time-consuming process, spanning several months to a year. While templates typically include instructions for modifying specific elements, this can sometimes result in added confusion and uncertainty regarding the website's performance and design responsiveness. With our straightforward guides, you can edit the template to your needs, and we'll ensure that your website's design maintains a robust structure and remains responsive across all screen sizes.

Meta Tag Handling

As part of our services, we handle meta tag handling, which is a broad definition for several SEO enhancers. The title tag, meta description, open graph title, and open graph description are SEO enhancements that make your website perform better for the search engine and make it appear more professional. The title tag is the line of text a user sees when your website appears on a search engine. The title tag acts as a link to your website. The meta description is a short description that goes below your title tag and quickly gives the search engine user a synopsis of your website. The open graph title and the open graph description are used when the website is shared on Facebook, Twitter or X, LinkedIn, and Pinterest. To maintain consistency, the open graph title is usually the same text as the title tag. The open graph description is the text below the open graph title and is usually the same as the meta description.

Responsiveness

Fully responsive or responsiveness is a common term used to describe how well a website’s content remains visible and interactive. No side-scrolling and all the content being viewable on all screen sizes are considered fully responsive. We ensure that even after edits are made to the dummy content on the template, it remains fully responsive and intact.

SEO Friendly

SEO stands for Search Engine Optimization. Being SEO-friendly involves adhering to specific technical practices that allow for a higher ranking on search engine algorithms. It essentially makes your website easier to find when searching on search engines like Google.

Basic Information Update Form

As part of our services, we allow for two changes a month to basic information form elements. For example, let's say that your business changed its phone number and Sunday office hours. You can fill both of these field inputs out in the basic information update form and we'll make the changes to your website. Please make an enquiry if you want to receive the basic information update form.
